English Lang Learn & Adult Ed - HELA

Provide instruction in Social Studies, Science, Math and Language Arts to prepare students for the GED Test.

Bachelor’s degree; 
Classroom teaching experience with a minimum of 1-year experience teaching Adult Basic Education or GED required;
Must be able to teach all subject areas using differentiated instruction;
Must be able to demonstrate use of incorporating technology to deliver instruction.
Experience teaching on-line in a synchronous and asynchronous environment is highly preferred.
Instructors must be willing to participate in required professional development and maintain accurate student records.
Candidates will be required to present a mini-lesson as part of the interview process.  This may be conducted either virtually or in person.
