Adjunct Faculty- Mathematics Instructor

Mathematics - HMAT

Math adjunct faculty teach developmental and credit courses ranging from Arithmetic through Calculus and staff the virtual and face-to-face tutoring labs.

Adjunct faculty may teach and/or tutor up to 13 load hours each fall and spring semester and up to 10 load hours each summer.

Adjunct faculty may serve on select college committees and engage in professional development activities.

The college values those having experience working with diverse student populations. A willingness to teach at any AACC location, various course formats, daytime face-to-face, and/or a non-traditional schedule (weekends/nights) is preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related field required to teach Developmental Mathematics courses.

Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field required to teach credit level math courses.

Proven instructional experience and dedication to student success.

Two years teaching experience in mathematics
