CCIT Lab Support Specialist

The Clauson Center for Innovation and Skilled Trades (CCIT) Lab Support Specialist provides in-person oversight, monitoring of facilities, equipment, tools and materials and support services for skilled trades lab courses.

  • Assist and support faculty and students in skilled trades lab courses.
  • Facilitate all college-related activities during scheduled classes. 
  • Assist college students and instructors with building entrance and room assignments by displaying appropriate signs or when necessary, by escort.  Update and replace information as required. 
  • Provide instructional support to faculty as appropriate, including providing access to equipment, tools and materials, assisting with clean up after lab courses sessions, and providing general administrative support as needed, e.g., making copies of instructional materials.
  • Disseminate and secure college equipment, tools and materials utilized at CCIT. Report damage or needed repairs to the Coordinator and/or Director, Apprenticeship and Applied Learning. 
  • Distribute all college informational materials to faculty and students as requested by the Coordinator and/or Director.  
  • Provide timely input to the Coordinator and/or Director regarding any program or facility problems, challenges, or issues.
  • Participate in all scheduled departmental meetings related to CCIT lab courses/programs. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Coordinator and/or the Director, Apprenticeship and Applied Learning. 

Lift and carry up to 50lbs of materials.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings from 5 pm -10 pm and Saturdays from 8 am - 5 pm.
