Literacy Adult and Community Education System, MIS Specialist, Baltimore

The Management Information System (MIS) Specialist will provide daily customer support for system function, operational, and technical issues: 

Duties include: 
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems/issues; 
• Maintain and support Management Information System activities;
• Develop Management Information System (MIS) process improvements for increased efficiency;
• Provide technical support to ensure hardware and software systems are fully functional;
• Create and generate reports in timely and accurate manner;
• Conduct system training to appropriate staff on regular basis;
• Train users on new application and upgrades;
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred;
• Minimum of two to three years experience, Literacy Pro/LACES experience a plus;
• Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with students, faculty, staff, business/industry and the public;
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
• Passing the DPSCS background check is a requirement;
• Position is not eligible for remote work/telework.


Monday-Thursday, 7am-2:30pm
