Job Skill Training Partnership (JSTP) Program Manager

The primary purpose of the Job Skill Training Partnership (JSTP) Program Manager is to fulfill duties and responsibilities:

• Work with institutional wardens and their staff to determine which Job Skill Training Partnership (JSTP) programs work best at their facilities;
• Assist staff in developing competencies for selected prison jobs;  
• Monitor the progress of each program; 
• Develop professional relationships with business representatives and others at American Job Centers (One-Stop Centers), community partners and Community Corrections agents in areas where facilities are located;
• Coordinate certificates of completion with on-site supervisors and Labor Head Quarters staff;
• Coordinate end of cycle celebration activities with institutional staff;
• Provide the Occupational Coordinator and the Head Quarters (HQ) Occupational Assistant with monthly reports, and an end of year report, on the progress of each program.  

• Bachelor’s degree;
• Minimum two years’ experience; 
• Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with students, faculty, staff, business/industry and the public;
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
• Passing the DPSCS background check is a requirement;
• Position is not eligible for remote work/telework.

28 hours; Monday-Thursday, 7 am - 2:30 pm
