Technical Assistant, Technology Learning Center

**This job is for the spring semester starting in January with paid training beforehand.**
Provide customer service and basic computer hardware and software support services to lab users of the Technology
Learning Center (TLC). Support services include but are not limited to:
-Troubleshooting Microsoft Office and internet browser issues/questions to the best of your ability
-Helping students navigating college web services (aacc.edu, MyAACC, and Canvas)
-Lab monitoring and tracking of usage numbers
-Submitting work orders for hardware/software issues to Help Desk
-Referral duties to other college services
Note that this job is not a benefited/contractual position and is not affiliated with the Information Services department (IT).
Technical experience is limited to the areas listed above.

Must have basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; people skills, comfortable performing conflict resolution,
and student outreach. A willingness and ability to work at either the Arnold or Arundel Mills locations as needed. Customer
service experience is required.
